A lyrical genius, a provocative thinker, and a precise speaker, Pastor Shawn Broadnax has devotedly served the Body of Christ for greater than 20 years. With an innate gifting amongst diverse demographics, his ministry is transcendent: bridging generational gaps and crossing cultural barriers. An answer, personified; his voice is sought after by those in need of wisdom, instruction, and resolution.
Prolific with a pen, Pastor Shawn gained notoriety early on as a writer, producer, and performer of Christian Hip-Hop. He has released seven full length albums and toured his music around the country. He has been blessed to share the stage with many of Gospel music’s most notable names, including Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, and many more. He’s been awarded both Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for his work.
With an incomparable acumen in audio and visual technology, he is the Founder & Chief Technology Officer of Church Everywhere Technologies – an advanced audio-visual integration company catering to the technological advancement of the church. Daily, he assists various churches and ministries to present the message of The Gospel excellently, effectively, and efficiently. His work in this arena has garnered him recognition as a Who’s Who of Rising Business Influencers, and as Innovator of the Year and Creative of the Year.
Carrying the message without the music, Pastor Shawn accepted his call to preach The Gospel. Biblically astute, culturally relevant, and prophetically sensitive, he has developed quite the reputation of a galvanic teacher. Through his ministry, persons have been empowered, changed, and – most importantly – reconciled to Christ. In 2022, Pastor Shawn was appointed as the Associate Pastor of The River Church, in Waldorf, MD.
Though his responsibilities are many, Pastor Shawn proudly professes that his primary call is that of leading his family. He is the joyous husband to Lady Kisha Broadnax, a father of four, and a grandfather of two.
